DENTis 2021

The event was organized by the Organization of Dental Students from Cluj-Napoca, in partnership with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Hațieganu” Cluj-Napoca, with sponsors: ALU PVC & Bond Systems, HalmaDent, Femina Medical, GSport, BKS Ingenieure, Dentsply Sirona, Ivoclar Vivadent, Terra Dent, Dr. Leahu,Septodont, NTT Data, PhilipsSonicare,Society of Estetic Dentistry in Romania, Connect Dentistry, Curaprox, Durr Dental, Elmex, Nastimed Dent Expert, Farmec, Dentamerica Distribuiton.

At this edition of the congress were 1000 participants, both from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, as well as from other Universities of Medicine and Pharmacy in the country, such as: University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iași, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy Oradea, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Constanța, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy Arad, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timișoara, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Târgu Mureș, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Galați, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy Sibiu. Along with them, there were many foreign participants from countries, such as Germany, Spain, Poland, Serbia.

The President of the Congress was Conf Prof. Dr. Anca Mesaroș, and the Scientific Committee was composed of: Senior Lecturer Dr. Radu Chișnoiu, Assistant Univ. Dr. Berar Antonela.

The conferences were held both by lecturers from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, and by lecturers from other Universities of Medicine and Pharmacy in the country, such as: Dr. Dragoș Țermure, Dr. Smaranda Buduru, Dr. Simion Bran, Dr. Radu Nichimis, Dr. Marius Bud, Dr. Johnny Barbur, Dr. Darius Tomina, Dr. Andrei Constantinovici.

We were also pleased to welcome a few internationally and nationally renowned lecturers: Dr. Rareș Buduru, Dr. Andreea Jianu, CDT Ciprian Panaite, Dr. Serdar Siralar, CDT Petri, Dr. Vlad Băncescu, Dr. Anca Kovacs, Dr. Eliza Stan, Dr. Miona Jovanovic, Dr. Dr. Danimir Jevremovic, Dr. Agnieszka Pacyk, Dr. Michał Ganowicz, Dr. Milos Miladinov, Dr. Carlos Fernandez Villares, Dr. Paulo Monteiro, Dr. Tudor Todea, Dr. Edina Szekely, Dr. Jesus Moreno, Dr. Sebastian Lupu, Dr. Martin Koch.

As in previous years, during the DENTis Congress, research-passionate students had the opportunity to presentthe results oftheir research in the scientific communication session thatincludes two sections: preclinical and clinical. The 2021 edition, also called the Pandemic Edition, brought a lot of prizes for the participants, these being in the form of giveaways carried out during the presentations.
